What is Stampede?

Stampede is a collaborative race focusing on teamwork and strategy, not just speed. You decide which locations you run to, to get the most points making sure you stay within the time limit. Every minute you go over the time limit your team score is reduced!

When does it take place?

Events occur on a Sunday at 10:00 or 10:30 in various cities and towns.

Who can participate in Stampede?

You enter your own team of 2 to 6 runners but, if you don't have a team, you can enter as an individuals and we will assign you to one of our resident teams.

How many locations in each race are there?

There are 25 locations to reach during the race. 23 with differing amounts of points with the ones (generally) furthest from the starting point attracting the highest values. You also have 2 special locations that will each give you extra points - if you reach them!

Is it a traditional race?

No, it emphasises collaboration and problem-solving over just speed. The team with the most points, in the fastest time, wins!

What should I bring to the event?

You'll be running on and off paths so bring comfortable running shoes capable of dealing with multiple terrains, a water bottle, and a positive attitude to enjoy the experience.
